Step 1

Download "Steem Windows Wallet and Miner"

Step 2

open the folder and execute steemd.exe (after unzipping)
It will open a window, like this:

The miner made a new folder. config.ini has been now created in that, you need to open it now like this:

Find "# P2P nodes and copy this code there like in image
seed-node = 212.47.249.84:40696

seed-node = seed.steemd.com:34191

Step 5

Find "# name of witness controlled by this node (e.g. initwitness )"
There fill in your Steemit username, it should look like this:

Now before moving forward get you WIF Private key.
now open bitaddress.org. you will see this page:

When you open the site, just move your cursor around till you finish generating your address

After that move to ""Bulk Wallet" and uncheck "Compressed addresses?" after that you will just press generate, and below you will be able to see WIF keys. They start with 5

Step 7

Find "# name of miner and its private key (e.g. ["account","WIF PRIVATE KEY"] )" in config.ini file.
There you will have to fill in your Steemit username and your WIF key
So it should like this:

Step 8

Now find "# Number of threads to use for proof of work mining"
and add the number of threads you want to run for mining.
In my case it looks like this:

But you may not have 8 cores for to do it. It all depends on what CPU you have. Check online how many threads your CPU has.

Step 9

Now Save the config folder and open steemd.exe again.

Step 10

Wait till it will sync with the blockchain, it will look like this untill it is done

Now you just have to wait, it make take upto 1 hour or more you will start mining after that.
