Do You Want To Earn 250 SMART CASH?
I have a desktop Smart Cash Wallet that doesn't want to connect to the blockchain and so my Smartcash are locked there. I want to get the Smartcash out of this stupid desktop wallet and onto my web wallet. If you are technical and think you can do that for me please let me know. If you successfully get the money from my desktop wallet to the web wallet I will give you 250 of my Smart Cash .
Current status:
I originally tried to fix the problem myself. I first copied everything I had on a USB before I started. Which was wise.
I downloaded the newer version of Smartcash. I used some bootstrap and did some other steps they said was necessary to update.
3 the new wallet started downloading the blockchain but got stuck again with two days left to update - now it can't connect to the blockchain again ...
- I have tried taking uploading the desktop wallet into the web wallet using the private key - and I can't succeed with that either.
It's fair to say I'm a bit frustrated and i need some help. If you choose to help what would stop you from taking all the smart cash from me ? Nothing actually. So when I choose someone to help me I might factor in things such as reputation on here etc (who said the reputation on Steemit doesn't really matter ;))
I will provide you with everything I saved on the USB and my new web wallet address and we will see if this can be achieved. Please help to resteem this if you can or tell people that might know a thing or two about smart cash.
Give me your desktop wallet private keys and I will return all your SmartCash to you. That if you can afford to trust a complete stranger like me. If your ready send it through e-mail.

Cryptopia where the wallet is not working either lol . It's under maintainenace . But the problem I have I don't think have anything to do with that. Thanks a lot with the resteem ! Let's hope someone who knows about this stuff sees it hehe
I have since today same problem and I think it has to do with an update Smartcash made because not only Cryptopia but also hitbtc has put their wallets under maintenance.
Otherwise what usually helps is deleting all the content in the smartcash folder except wallet.dat. But it seems what you are writing that you did that already.

What exactly was the problem with this one? Is the address imported but not showing the balance or it didn't import at all?
It imported the address but no balance. I could send you all the files I had when rhe problem started and it couldn't connect to the blockchain. I feel the more I try the worse I make the situation lol . I have read online though that many people had a similar problem of the desktop wallet stopping to update at a certain block .
Did you send it from Cryptopia? And it was showing in the old wallet? then you have the same problem as me :) Response from smartCash team was wait for cryptopia to update the wallet and rebroadcast the transactions. It should show up then
I did send from cryptopia hehe. so we should just wait for cryptopia at the moment ?

While you can't have these coins in the Smart Rewards wallet, I'm sure this will be worked out in the upcoming months by their tech development team. Have you gone on any of their Discord or chat rooms to ask for ideas from their staff?
So far it seems one just has to wait . Are you using the web wallet and is it working properly?
I downloaded the local wallet at first but couldn't seem to get it to connect to the network. While I felt that'd be more secure, it seemed buggy, so I sent my coins from Cryptopia to my Smart Rewards wallet smoothly. Sent a second tiny set there from broncnutz's giveaway and that was smooth too. I don't even know how you got your coins into the local wallet actually, but they're certainly not lost. I think waiting it out while chatting with support on their Discord, etc., is safer than trusting somebody with the keys to your funds. Secondly, 250 Smart Cash might be more or close to a month or two of rewards, so no loss really by holding it there vs giving away 250.
Also if you develop inroads with developers in their chats, perhaps they can compensate you for missed Smart Rewards. They seem like the crew that could do that.
