There are a lot of things to comment on here. @merej99 has definitely made me feel welcome on the platform. Her ability to reach out to newbies and make them feel welcome is second to none.
Your parents place looks amazing. I am from Ontario Canada and it reminds me of Cottage country around here. No need to go away on vacation with views like that!
As for voting power. I don't have alot of it yet so I am still leaving it set to 100% and just making sure that I pick great posts to vote on.

@merej99 has been that way since she was a newbie herself ;) She is the kind of people that makes this place awesome.
My parent's place is amazing, I have to agree :) And it's a good time to be new. Even as my sp climbed I didn't alter that bar except on comments until now, which is definitely a learning process-- nice to meet you @dadview!
