I feel you. Interesting to see how this will all pan out. The zero censorship for the blockchain is a shortlived truth, falicy or simply put - a lie.
I wouldn’t expect society to devolve. Legislation will change what you’re talking about. Until then, you’re probably wasting your time.
The word on the street is LTC and Facebook are going to collaborate. If that happens our “utopian blockchain dream” will be shattered.
Steemit 'preaches' / claims to be the anti-censorship platform.
If FB will take LTC that would indeed be bad, but all the more reason for steemit to be better then FB instead of being the different flavour of the same
The blockchain may well be the option against censorship, but this form of censorship is all the way around the blockchain right? Its a tyrannical bypass operation.
I'm not wasting time, i would be wasting time if i would be silent and accept this hypocritical bullshit. Unintended i'm sure, but that's not my problem.
I'm on steemit because of the non censorship promise and i found this issue and i'm not going to let it rest, as now is the time to fix this. Not wait until somewhre next year when everyone is used to 'Facebookian-tyranny'
Be the anti censorship platform and shine at it.
I wish I had some backing of specialists here, as my bandwidth is silencing me way to much.
