When I like music and try to share that music with my followers then @cheetah singles me out, rats my post to the steemcleaners.org.
Thing is this: I'm a DJ I promote music, I BUY music, I OWN music, and I'm BY LAW permitted to SHARE music that I OWN AND PAID FOR. I'm a DJ, I did a weekly radio show, and also had an online radio show. Not that important, everyone should be able to share anything if they want.

When I go to www.BOF.nl (bits of freedom) an organisation that raises awareness of online privacy issues. And copy an article that they ASK to be shared.
They literally say on their website PLEASE SHARE THIS ARTICLE ON SOCIAL MEDIA.
And I do that, here on my FAVORITE / ONLY social media platform that I use. THEN AGAIN the @cheetah bullshitter is going to single me out.

I paid a lot of money for my music collection. and I mean A LOT of money. And I want to share the music that I OWN in any way or form that's possible.
I'm happy to receive my money back FROM THE MUSIC INDUSTRY and destroy the music, never to be played again.
As long as that is not happening don't discriminate me for PROMOTING ANY PIECE OF MUSIC THAT I OWN, LIKE AND WANT TO SHARE WITH THE PEOPLE I CARE ABOUT.

Yes, I had my frustrations with that pest thing myself not to long ago, and it lied to me saying it upVoted my post which it did not.
I really hope someone can think up something better soon. This just looks bad. This is just not what freedom is about.
I made music, and copyright is not soupposed to be a surveillance / sensorship / manipulation tool.
Without free radio stations we only would have a very limited choice of very boring pop-stars.
Music is there to be heard, not to be swept under the carpet.
And don't punish people for sharing music. And certainly not people who spend a lot of money on music. It's an insult.

I kinda understand what they TRY to do with cheetah, but it just fails at every level. And by that it does more damage to the steemit platform itself.

Before acting as the police they need to learn about the responsibilities of power. And to me they have shown to disregard those more then a little.

🙌👏👏👏 seriously I couldn't agree more but most people want to hold onto their possessions and creations so no one can claim their work but in all honesty, who cares? Ideas, info, art whatever is all made to be shared.. no piece of work defines anyone so if someone took my work and wanted to pass it off as their own so be it! It clearly struck a chord with them if they see enough worth in it to steal it.. my job is done, my passion is fulfilled as soon as someone connects with my work. The torch is meant to be passed - that is how innovation happens and how ideas spread.
If we accept that most people actually DO HAVE A MORAL COMPASS then we should know most will not sneak up and steal your hard work then profit like cray off it - No they may borrow pieces or grab it as a reference but surely kind people will give you the recognition you deserve and bam! your name and work is now reaching brand new circles of people!

How many great music was made by sampling the work of other musicians and using it in new ways. This was subject to the same copyright bullshit of the music industry.
If it was for the copyright elite, then Hip-hop never would have existed. Yet look how much money the music industry makes in the Hip-hop scene.
Same in the house scene.
If our over over grand mothers would have claimed copyright on their cooking art, then we would be eating the same food they cooked 4 generations ago...
This would have good and bad sides, but no freedom to adjust to what food is available in at the market, so we actually could have died from hunger, wile having an abundance of other food sources.
Articles should be seen as recipies. Eat them , chew on them, enjoy the taste, refine the recipies, and share the cooking art.

What is the difference in allowing advertising icecream and let people make money on that, and disallowing otheres to advertise good music and to punish them for it. Not just by demonetising but on top of that giving bad ratings for GOOD MUSIC

Just look- up the vocal version of the dub I just posted and try to understand what the song is all about. Then put that into context. and discover the art of being a DJ by posting the dub and let people do the thinking. This is my way of expression. My way of COMMUNICATING with music.
If Steemit punished me for EXPRESSING MYSELF then steemit is being the hypocrite. And not a snap in front of the nose better then Twitter or Facebook, but merely a new flavour of the same shit.

Take close attention how the music relates to the article and how it communicates back to the writer of the article.
And the reaction of the writer of that article is more then I could ever had hoped for. :-)

cheetah is an oversimplified problem on top of a problem that is handled by the wrong people.
an ISP should not be policing it's users.
An ISP simply does not know enough about copyright and cheetah can't even see the difference in simple matters.
