College Level Steemit Education ; we simply must respect and value others . . .

Hi all, some of you might already know this is a hints and tips blog post about how to make a bigger splash in the Steemit pond.

Simply Steemit is a new and radically different way to do Social Media. Now what does someone want from Social Media. Maybe if I just tell you want I want (and expect) then you can share some ideas of what the term Social Media means to you.

In today's world only three things are sold, FEAR, PROPAGANDA and MARKETING. Fear is simply the suggestion that if someone does not follow your advice to act in a certain way something worse will happen. Propaganda is simply telling a convenient story instead of revealing the truth. Marketing is about trying to leverage a greater percentage market-share, like airlines wanting more passengers by taking some passengers away from their competitors as well as gaining new fliers : )

Yet for myself I am in " information overload "; I want a ' PA ' , my personal assistant will sort (and CENSOR) information for quality control before I get to it. However I do not want opinions censored , but just how useful or relevant the information is. This makes my life easier by knowing the news I am getting is not just some press release prepared for the journalist to simply take and broadcast.

On Steemit I want to be entertained, informed about different topics I like such as Space, Technology, Science and History. I follow Steemians who try and produce good quality presentations. I am simply amazed by eg @orcish the artist ! ! ! Plus I can get into chats about things like the value of Professional Politicians : )

I am also launching a sideline concept to reward new Steemians , people who arrive and produce nice work but fail to gain RECOGNITION for their Steemit presentations. How this works is simple , any Steemian can donate 0.001 SD to my account wallet and I will send this money to a new Steemian who produced a quality post but failed to gain any payout in that posts first day.

I want to encourage and show new people on Steemit that someone is watching them even if it is only little old me ; )
By investing in quality new people these people will grow faster and become Ambassadors for the Steemit platform , if we fail to engage these quality new people we run the risk of losing them forever. Can anyone nominate a new Steemian and / or donate 0.001 SD , this is not about getting rich its about getting noticed.
