Here are 5 beginner success tips to get started on Steemit that I have experienced in my first week since my introduction post. Even though I had some trouble getting going on Steemit, things seem to be smooth now and looking forward to posting more!

• 👍 1. Do you have an audience on Steemit? To get upvotes and be successful, you need to have an audience on Steemit. Search tags and see what others are sharing. Consider becoming a Steemit Pioneer and start building your own community if you don’t find one already exists.

• 💗 2. Write a first and awesome introduction post. Introduce yourself to the Steemit community and make sure to use the tag “introduceyourself” as the FIRST tag in your posts. You can use up to 5 tags.

• 🔧 3. Fill out your entire profile. Maximize your presence on Steemit and if you are a YouTuber, consider using your YouTube channel URL in the website box.

• ⛰️ 4. Comment on Hot posts and get your profile noticed more. Hot posts have the highest interaction and eyes on them from other Steemians. Consider sharing your own posts on Hot posts and leaving great comments.

• 🏆 5. Support Witnesses. Interact with them and help your favorite Witness grow by voting for them. You have 30 votes to give out, make them count and vote for your favorite Witness.
