I cannot see the value of automating voting. Voting should ideally be based on a cognitive analysis of a post's content. The community value of a vote is the degree to which it encourages the author to produce more, and its ability to draw attention of readers. Just because someone produced something that was liked previously, does not mean the next item will be equally good. Likewise autovoting uses up votes blindly, votes that could be used to encourage new talent.
