๐ My Gratitude Post after 156 Days & 1,235 Followers ๐ Life is Good @ steemit.com ๐
๐ Thank You so very much for Your Time, A precious commodity you offer every time you read my blog. I still have incredible learning to do before being content/comfortable with publishing my blog. I'm nervous every time I click the post button.
My mistakes along the way have been countless, but all learning experiences in my goal to create some great content for my readers.
The interactions I have with you are the most precious to me, Sharing my life and experiences with strangers who become friends through communicating here @ steemit.com have been priceless. Thank You :-)
๐ How did I get here... What have I learned... Where am I going? Might be a tall order for just 1 blog, But here we go...
Thanks to a rather large income tax return, I decided to start my permanent residency permit into Panama which takes a fair bit of time and money to complete. I probably sunk a little more than I could spare into homestead upgrades and other things while budgeting for an early fall completion. I even bought a welder and taught myself to weld doing needed upgrades to the chicken coop and area.
With a ton of time on my hands I started spending more time on the internet and while viewing Youtubes @dollarvigilante posted a video of making $15,000 for a single post @ steemit.com. Guess what my next move was :-).
Back in May 2017 you could open an account and get approval the same day, And for free.
๐ With Zero writing/editing or photographic/video editing skills my learning curve has been steep but rewarding.
Fortunately, steemit.com is full of wonderful blogs addressing all the information I needed to get started on my quest for blogging excellence.
My spelling/punctuation was/is horrible and needed to be addressed first and Grammarly has been super in correcting my multitude of mistakes. When I first started, my blog was filled with the red lines that pointed to my mistakes, and I spent more time dealing with them than writing. LOL, Today I'm down to just several on most posts. :-)
๐ท Pictures and editing is a large part of steemit posts and I've been using paint for this, Probably the weakest form of photo editing, but it was handy for me to do simple tasks. Someday I'll find and learn a better program. ( Suggestions ? )
I had some fun and probably overused them when I started but had fun learning and even tried a few meme's but decided to leave meme's to the pro's
๐ Learning a little markdown language is a must to place pictures/text in different locations and changing how it is presented on screen.
๐ Last but not least...๐ณ Emoji's ! Also my most recent mistake. I got excited and even made a blog about Emoji's Here and after spending the better part of a day creating it, Learned that they only work on certain operating systems...Doh.
Oh well, It was fun to do and kept me busy for hours. Maybe someday there will be universal Emoji codes?
๐ What plans for My future here @ steemit? Improving all of the above plus the purchase of better photography & video equipment.
Eventually taking said equipment traveling with me all over Panama and abroad, to great locations and events and sharing it all with my followers here at steemit
Blogging about what is happening around our homestead will be a steady addition. I'll try to make them as fun and informative as i can. 3 recent post's I did from home blew my mind with a healthy ๐ณ Whale vote and 1 going over $100 !
A couple of those per week would keep me in the lifestyle I enjoy in Panama, Seems incredible to me...But what a nice way to make a living - Thanks to steemit & You...I just might get there someday ๐
Thanks for reading and supporting my blog, I ๐ Comments...
