My First Seven Day Payout Post

Looks like the hard-fork went through, took me a bit to figure out exactly what was happening. Did some research and found out the reward schedule will take at least a week to see the payout amounts I was expecting to see when looking at the trending page. For a second I thought everything was broken!

I have had a lot going on and a lot of potential content for Steem. Need to get back in the habit of posting more often if not every day. Will be interesting to see how the dynamics are different with the new payout system.

May also do some more commenting given the payout increase for those also. What fun to see how all this will play out and change the system. It is a good reminder that steemit is still in beta and not a polished product.

Have a summer project starting up here in the next couple of weeks. Have an idea to cut bottles to make fresh herb planters and sell them at local markets. Should be a good side project that will help people eat better.
