Are the Mobile Apps Safe to Sign In To?

in #steemit7 years ago (edited)

You Tube has become Them Tube as James Corbett so aptly put it, so I am looking at the mobile apps associated with steemit. There is one for dtube and one for the blogs that I have found so far. I want to sign in so I can use my phone for more of this. I have lately found the laptop to be too big and cumbersome. My question is- is it safe to sign into these? The creator says it is, but I want opinions from others that are more knowledgeable about how computers and apps work than myself. Do you use the apps? If we sign in is there any way our accounts could be hijacked?

This is the viewer for dtube (it says unreleased, not sure what that means)
