hashrate and hardware comparison page Update 1
Hello Steeminans,
this is UPDATE 1 for the mining hardware comparison page
next update in 3-5 days
Please, post a comment with your configuration, like this:
hardware | clock | hashrate | threads | RAM | OS | info
other information
- for each block you'll get ± 5000 VESTS = 1 SP
- with an average of 35 Khps you'll get 1-4 blocks day --> average time is > 480 minutes

I've got i5-4690K @ 3.50 GHz, 16 GB memory, 4 threads, Linux Mint, getting about 28 Khps. Are there any tips or tricks out there for squeezing out a few more hashes?
for squeezing more, you need to overclock your cpu ("K" means that you can).
i5-4690K max GHz are 3.9

You could try to use intel turbo boost be careful when doing this operation
I've found a guide on youtube:
Thanks, I'll check it out. By the way, what are the advantages of being a witness, instead of just regular mining?
you can find more information here
https://bitshares.org/technology/delegated-proof-of-stake-consensus/
but I really don't know how
how much steem to mine per day on average?
I've only been running 1 day :)
I found 1 so far! haha
I can get 1-4 SP per day with 30Khps, but the diff is increasing :(
thaannks
Do you know if transaction fees goes too to the miners? and thank you very much for the info
Thanks
