RE: Steemit Target Market Insights - What Can We Learn From Hubpages?
Interesting idea - always great when someone floats an idea. We can use that to build a better idea. I am always a big believer at modelling things that work and dumping things that do not work.
I do believe that as a community we have to think about targeting in two dimensions.
- People who have great content to share. People who can make a difference
- People who have a need for that information.
These are not the same thing - and we need both. In my business we alwasy used to look at competing in two dimensions. We competed for clients. We competed for staff. When we worked that out our business grew dramatically - because we grabbed really good people who we could showcase to our clients to win more and better clients.
On Steemit we would do well to do the same - grab really good content providers and showcase the content to get more readers.
