STEEMIT IS A GAME CHANGER : My first week with Steemit : HELP ME DO THIS FOREVER !

It's been a week since my last post and today was the first day I received tangible evidence, for not only myself but everybody that I have been speaking to about Steemit. My first introduce me post did far beyond what I had expected. Reaching $186 and over 80 followers it blew my mind.

As an artist, I have been waiting for an opportunity to write up my journey's and experiences, but I always felt as if there was no platform I could blog on that would keep me engaged with an audience that felt right, as well as earn money to help live daily from it. The moment my friend @kamalee introduced me to Steemit I couldn't believe it. I understood it well enough, having knowledge of the cryptocurrency world and have been trading crypto coins for a short period now(still really new!). But still I couldn't believe it.

Sunday 27 Aug 22:38 I cashed out SBD into my Bittrex account and from there I knew. Since trading on Bittrex I haven't yet cashed out anything I have deposited, since it isn't actually that much. So I thought let me cash out what I earned from my post and prove to myself as well as my family and girlfriend that was hesitant on the idea of investing time in this.

My friend had a verified LocalBitcoins account and I asked him for some help (clearly i'm new to this). I asked him if I could transfer the bitcoins i made from the Steemit post and he said of course, since he hasn't even tried to cash out himself. In one hour I received £50 and withdrew the money instantly. £50 isn't a lot of money, but to be honest it felt like a million pounds. Knowing I was able to create a post about my journey, gather interested readers from the Steemit community and make money from it. I honestly still can't believe it.

Youtube reaching over 200,000 views. Performing over 100 shows in the last year all over London, Europe and festivals from the likes of Glastonbury and Wireless.
