RE: STEEM II Announced: What's the Name? What's the Intent... What's the Difference?
Hey, Max, thanks for your post.
You almost read my thoughts on this matter. Dan is a great builder of shiny ivory towers which suck in real life. It's not only the marketing it's the economy that sucks.
Bitshares sucks because I just can't get my fiat money there without losing the half on fees. You don't populate the platform with exchangers and liquidity providers - you end up with non working platform.
Steemit sucks because of bad coding design. New users registration process is a joke. Frontend is ugly and unusable compared to what general public used to on FB, Twitter and Instagram. The economy is improving but we had a long bloody way ahead of us. And we won't survive scaling even to 1M of active users daily.
For Dan steady improvements and building a product which would suffice the end user is too boring. It's so much fun to build another unusable shiny tower - especially if the general hype-loving crypto "invesors" are always ready to pay billions for his shiny promises and praise him like god of the sun. Well, too bad for them.
Always a pleasure to have someone other than a bootlicker here :D
Glad we're on the same page with that.
