I made this side table

I spent about a month and a half making this side table as my first big project in my grade 11 woodworking class .To start,I went on the internet and found the perfect side table with simple plans. I made most of the table from maple 2x4s. The advantage to this was that the table looked beautiful, but the disadvantage was that is was heavy. I had to get my friend to help me carry it in my house so that I didn't ruin my back. On the back inside and sides are plywood out in using a nail gun. The rest of the table is put together using pocket holes with screws( lots of them). After it was all put together I used 3 clear coats, sanding between each coat. Some of the mistakes that I made are the last few pictures. sometimes a piece may be too short or the wood that I glued together may warp and may not fill every corner. another problem not seen in the pictures is the problem of nails going through the wood all the way to the other side. Through all the mistakes and faults i had fun making the table and i think that it is a wonderful table.
