Satoshi Treasure Hunt Update.The Successful Retrieval of The Leporine Key plus Token Allocation Breakdown after Successful Retrieval.

The Leporine Key

The clue for the 4th key was expected at 6pm GMT and it came as expected. This key was called the The Leporine Key. Leporine being another word for a hare or a rabbit. The creator Eric Meltzer predicted that this clue would take a while to crack.
The clue revealed a gif or a rabbit floating in Space and it was playing at the speed below. There was a photo of a guys face during the cartoon.

There were 7 of us online at the time.
@niallon11 , @torrey.blog , myself, @balticbadger, @wholeself-in, @mistakili @paulag. I'm not blowing my own trumpet but the A-Team had nothing on us.

So we broke down the gif frame by frame. There was a little message saying Unzip Me under the face of the man. Someone in one of the other rooms had this spotted pretty quick.
The clue page leads to a file called leporine.gif, which shows a loop of roger the rabbit in space and a random dude’s eyes.

Running Leporine.gif through analysis tools revealed the file resembled a zip file. Inside was a file called Leporine.txt which contained a URL (https://satoshistreasure.xyz/eggseggseggseggsfortheeggmangetyoureggs) and note, hinting to use the Jade key as a password.

Navigating to that URL and entering K1, the Jade Key, reveals yet another URL, this time a Shopify site. https://happyfactory.store/collections/home/products/colorful-easter-egg

The product page indicates that 8 eggs need be purchased and combined to reveal the next secret. The eggs are sold at $1.37, and delivered by email. Proceeds will be entered into the Hunt Pot.

When an egg is delivered it is an image of a fragment. In the center of the completed an image is a QR code. Only by assembling the 8 unique fragments can the complete QR code be revealed. This is intended to discourage solo hunters and encourage group hunting. So the team went easter egg shopping and we all purchased an egg. A confirmation email with the easter egg started arriving and the team got different fragments of the egg. The key was piecing each fragment of the egg together to reveal the qr code. Once we had the 8 fragments another passphrase was needed.
The passphrase was a dim light illuminated the darkness, casting shadows on the walls and revealing a single key hanging from a thread in the middle of the vault
The key was then revealed.

@torrey.blog and @niallon11 cracked the code and sent us the info as other groups were cracking the code also after getting their 8 fragments.
The Leporine Key was retrieved and is safely back at Steem HQ!! So we have 4 keys out of 4 so far in this adventure.

Satoshi's Treasure Token Allocation

Thanks to the guys at @steem-engine the Satoshi's treasure token was issued this week to encourage Steem's hunters to join our cause. We are building steadily on discord and our clan is now getting more spread out across the globe. We still need alot more participating in the group. The updated map is looking alot healtier than a few days ago but still a bit to go.

Hunters allocation:

1500 STT's are allocated to each key retrieval. @torrey.blog and niallon11 were both instrumental in the keys retrieval.It was only a matter of time before one of them cracked it. @torrey.blog retrieved the key was found at around 10.30pm.
SST Token allocated:
@torrey.blog 1000 STT
@niallon11 500 STT

Active User Allocation:

600 STT are allocated for Steemians active in the key hunt. As I said there were six of us in total that were searching for the key. We all purchased an egg from the site so we could bring the key home.

here were 6 participants which means each participant will get 100 STT for their participation . Thank you.

Even though we reek of awesomeness so far with 100% of the clues obtained we still need you. We need conspiracy theorists like @shepz1 or @lucylin. We need @exyle to stop watching formula 1 and help us solve a clue! The best cars win!!! We need @dtube to stop doing press ups next sunday and help us solve the next key. And we need a shit load of guys who know what they are looking at when it comes to systems and code like. We are relying on other rooms so far to solve some of the puzzles. I really do think the Steem community can pull this off without any external help. But we need people. lots of them.
