Minnow Milestone: Reached 500 STEEM POWER (vote slider activated!)
It's been quite a journey on the STEEMIT platform thus far, although I joined a few months ago, I've seen the platform slowly develop into something more! I'm very excited for this minnow milestone of reaching 500 STEEM power because its a indication of consistency and involvement...I just didn't buy 500 STEEM all out once either, I slowly accumulated it through blogs, comments, curation, and my daily small buy (usually around 2 STEEM a day). I'm sure I might sound like I'm beating a dead horse on this one but being able to use the vote slider has helped me maintain my voting power, previously with out it, I would automatically vote at 100% and that would drain my voting power tremendously. So now with the voting slider active, I can reserve my voting power and allocate it appropriately. This baby milestone allows me to have more control over and influence on the platform and this is the exciting part!
Also I believe you don't exactly need 500 STEEM to activate the vote slider, it's somewhere around 483-4845 I believe, but anywho it's pretty cool and enjoying the STEEMIT flow!
