Sad 😥

Very sad to say and to see. So many people streeming on this platform. All browsing for their own self. They upvote their post through their other accounts. Is it legal to do such an act of behavior. Some flag others content when they copy or paste it through a link. But anyone hardly upvote a content that is written by heart. Sad to see the growth just by numbers but not by means.

Thank you for reading.

One of the problems/challanges for new users is that they are competing against thousands of other users who are also posting. Getting people's attention in the massive flood of content is really hard. The best advise I can give is to be patient and to just work on networking. If you slowly build up a following and make friends, and you are consistently posting quality content - then eventually the money should follow.

I started out as a 'nobody' last July and worked my butt off to get noticed and recognized for posting quality content. It took me around 6 months before I really started to get a name for myself. After that though, then it started to pay off and now my posts get a lot of views because I have built a following.

It can be done, but it takes time and dedication.

Thank you my friend @awgbibb
I am not depressed but I am trying to see what runs in others mind when they see such big numbers on other people's post.

You post is an over generalization but a valid point. Yes most folks are on here for their own self interest. I would not say all are though. I have net a few good eggs. I too am disappointed in the platform as many of the same misuses from Facebook have carried over to Steemit. There is selfishness with some however folks have an agenda or else they would not be here. There is promoting and a rare instance of bullying but that happens with a public arena. It does not justify the behavior though. Thanks for sharing.

I understand but slightly disagree. People with a lot of great content get recognition

They are genius and that they should be. But not fair to upvote your own content from your other account and so for one to flag the other who are cutting and pasting clips to their post.

There aren't really 'rules' or laws saying that people can't do that. Technically anyone who has earned/bought SP is 'allowed' to do whatever they want with it. Some people use it for good, others for more selfish reasons. But thus is human nature.

don't be sad man
look up and get up and don't every give up
