Steemit reached 250.000+ Users | Future prediction comparing to Facebooks user growth | Talking about the golden Age of steemit!

Great news to share with you! Steemit.com reached the 250.000 user milestone and I'm really happy to be part of this next ,little' success. While i was talking about the future grwoth of steemit to my friends this day, i tried to compare the evolution with the facebook users growth since 2004, when they reached their first Million users.

I tried to predict the time we will reach the million user and also to predict ongoing evolution. Let's start with some look on the Steemit Data.

Let's look on Steemd.com -> There are 253,943 registered Accounts
Comparing to SteemData.com we can see some growth in daily active users, too. The volume more than doubled from 11. Jun 2017 with 9,8k active users to 21k active users on 11. July 2017. This means some percentage grow of 114%.

I think the most of you allready know, were still in the early adoption phase. I just wanted to show the graphic to get some feelings, how far we will go in future, when the mass adoption will begin...

This post from @furion from 11 months ago pointed a steemit account volume of 61k Accounts.

On the next point we allready reached 100.000 users in october 2016. That means i just took about 3 months to double the 61k Accounts.

Well, some days before we broke the 200k mark, now we broke the 250k mark on 10.07.2017. That means the amount of users more than doubled since october, again. I think we will see this continue in the future.
Ofcourse we reached 250.000 users, and that's some great success, but it's still the beginning. Also the growth will speed up, i guess. To underline this oppinion i want to show the user growth of facebook after they reached their first million users in december 2004.

As you can see there is some growing up to 550% growth in the first year. Sadly i did not found some statistic, that shows how facebook reached his first million, that would be a way better base to build my comparison, but i think you see the enormous future potential anyway.

This diagramm just should show you, comparing to the early adoption phase, how much possibilitys we have going upwards. 250.000 isn't a realy number anyway, if we're talking about social networks. Think about Reddit, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook... and then think about steemit, and the great mind which has created this plattform. I'm sure we will be moonrocking soon!

When does Steemit reach 1 Million users? My prediction

We saw the past evolution of steemit, we talked about the numbers and we talked about facebook and its user growth. I tried to calculate some point of time, when steemit will reach 1kk users.

Comparing the speed up in spreading of networks and technologies overall ( we will see with Blockchain adoption, too) i suggest Steemit to hit 1kk users until 11.03.2018. That's just my opinion, after i took the past evolution and calculated by doubling volume in decreasing timesteps.

What does that mean to me?

We're are part of some great incubator, that will become that popular like other known networks, we talked about. The question is just about the time, but i guess everyone who's still with me chilling here in steemit, will see some great success. I won't give some predictions about the future steem price, but if you look to marketcapital from the big social networks, we see many possiblities. Today i bought steem under 1 USD on bittrex and i guess, that was one really good deal, while i believe they will be worth more then 10 USD in one year easily. But let's wait about this and see what will happen.
