Yes, Mine with your Dollars. 10% interest a year, stable, perfect for merchants. I don't know the best marketing campaign but i think most of the marketing should go to creating demand for Steem Dollars. People always want to earn money or find a job so you don't have to advertise blogging because bloggers are already coming. The problem is what will these bloggers do with Steem Dollars if no one wants them?

And what would be the incentive compared to regular proof-of-stake crypto's?

10% risk free interest? Where else can you find that and from a coin which you know isn't a scam? You can get the same benefit as you'd get from Proof of Stake without any risk of volatility. If you buy a proof of stake coin with $100,000 then in a year that $100,000 could become $10,000 and you still get interest from Proof of Stake but the underlying coin isn't stable. Bitcoin is also not risk free, you have to gamble on whether it will go up. With Steem Dollars you know it's going to be worth around $1 so you can put large buys for it just to have something to hold onto when cryptos are in a depression.

Of course getting people to buy Steem Power is even better but that is not going to help people who need to cash out their SBD.

Understood.

Sounds like a smart advertising avenue to me. The SBD works much like the USDT (https://coinmarketcap.com/assets/tether/) in that it can be an asset of relative safety on the volatile blockchain, without forcing merchants back into fiat or 'hard assets'.

It will be in the future, but not now when SBD is worth $0,77 when it should be way closer to a dollar.
