Proposal: Rename Steemit to Haejinit

in #steemit6 years ago (edited)

I think it's safe to say that @haejin owns the Steemit platform now. As Haejin continues to post upwards of 9+ charts per day for various cryptocurrencies and raping the reward pool through his successful use of demonic Steem bots, it's clear we aren't swimming in clean waters anymore.

While @haejin swims in his shark-free resort quality pool, the rest of us are swimming in shark invested sewerage water, slowly dwindling in numbers are we starve to death fighting over the crumbs that fall from Haejin's mouth as he continues chewing into the Steem pie.

If it weren't for the crumbs falling out of Haejin's mouth (thank goodness he chews with his mouth open), this place would definitely be in a worse position than it currently is. You can only live on crumbs for so long.

I am not to say whether Haejin is a good or bad person, I don't know him. I think a man should be measured by his actions. So, let's quickly measure some of his actions.

The fact he gives nothing back to the platform that has helped him ascend into the top 1% and abuse his power by flagging people for seemingly invalid reasons, I would argue his greed and abuse is a measurable action that concludes he is not a good person.

Close to two weeks ago Haejin ascended the heights of the Steem mountain and officially became too big to flag. Just like Goldman Sachs and other big financial institutions were responsible for causing the GFC in 2009, Haejin has undeniably become a risk for the Steem network.

Even though Haejin is in the middle of a flag war, spearheaded by the likes of @berniesanders and his trove of flagging accounts, it's impossible for lesser reputation accounts to do damage to higher reputation accounts.

So although there has been a concentrated flagging effort against Haejin, his reputation has increased by a few points. But his payouts have been negatively impacted.

Haejin is officially so powerful that people are scared to flag him because Haejin is so almighty and powerful that the fear of getting a flag from him would be devastating to a user. One flag from Haejin or his proxy accounts can have a negative impact.

Just like the US Government is scared of the big banks who are too big to jail and fail, Haejin has now become a big bank who is too big to jail or fail. Although, admittedly I have seen claims of tax evasion levelled at Haejin, who knows if they're valid.

Having said all of this, I hereby propose that Steemit is renamed to Haejinit. Why? Because he already owns the platform.

This is funny. Didn’t they have a 3 post limit a while back to prevent this.

Yes, but people would just make more accounts. So we would have 3 or 4 haejin accounts getting the 10 upvotes a day @ranchorelaxo can give, instead of 1 account. Scammers will always find a way...

If there we're someone named David who makes it his soul duty to challenge Goliath !

And of course a downvote from the prick himself.

Hopefully, my measly 2c upvote goes a little way to helping you climb back out of the hole that Haejin put you in. This guy is seriously cancer if he's going to abuse his power like this. It's appalling.

I keep wondering where @dan is and why he hasn't addressed the Steemit communities' concerns, thanks for the support.

Well, @dan is launching EOS. STINC pretty much shot themselves in the foot when @ned antagonized him.

Where did you find out about all this?

Just reading through their old posts. @ned's in particular.

Cheers, I'm still getting a handle on it all.
