As a new user it definitely was a breath of fresh air to be on a platform that didn't have ads. Even reddit has snuck in ads over the years and it was sort of a bother for me. But on the other hand, if ads could be for the benefit of the growth of the site as well as the users, I would definitely bear them.

Thanks! Depending on what you post, with advertising and continued income, you just might be able to live off it for life and pass it on to your heirs
