There are several befits with Steem Power:
- Steem Power pays you interest.
- You get paid when you upvote. The reason for that is when someone upvote you, you get 75% and they get 25% ( to put it simple, it is a little bit more complicated).
- If you upvote your own post, comment or reply, you get all the money if you have Steem Power (75% + 25%).
- When people decide if they should follow you they often look in your Wallet to see if you have Steem Power.
There are other benefits but I suggest you read about the whole system later.

Power Up everything to Steem Power in the beginning, that is my advise.
Find a debit card and use what you need when you need it. I use https://wirexapp.com Keep the rest in Steem Power and earn more.
Can you use Steem and other cryptos on Wirex or just Bitcoin?
