STEEMIT BEGINNERS GUIDE (short and simple)

I made this short and simple so new users can easily understand.

1.)Keep your password safe

Do not share your password to anyone. Keep it to somewhere safe. Use your master password upon logging in to your account only. Do not use the master password on doing transactions or posting, use the "posting", "active", "owner" or "memo" keys instead. See the picture below:

2.)Follow the good people on the platform

By following the good people on the platform you will surely learn something on their posts. It can help you grow on the community. They might also give you high valued upvote if your post is original and informative. If you will make a valuable comment on their posts they might also give you upvotes. 3.) Be consistent

Earning just few dollars on your first post might be disappointing. Always remember STEEMIT is not a quick get to rich scheme! Always remember the popular phrase "Great things starts from small beginning". The people here who are now earning thousands of dollars started in earning from cents. So don't stop posting. Be consistent and post at least twice a week, if you can do once a day it would be better.

4.)Be original

Don't plagiarize! If you do, @cheetah will hunt you and it will give a comment on your post saying it found a similar content somewhere else. If that happens people will not give you upvotes and they might also flagged you. So create your own content. Write your own blog. Use your camera and capture original photos.

5.)Don't beg for follow and upvote

A lot of people do this. If you will notice, their reputation score is very low and sometimes negative. It's because they have been flagged many times by spamming people for begging for follow or upvote. Also, their upvote is worthless so avoid exchanging follow or upvotes from them. It will not help you grow on the platform.

6.)Avoid flagging for no valid reason

Our main goal on the platform is to gain friends not enemies. So flag/downvote only if there's a valid reason.
