Steem Community - Malaysia Facebook group progress report as of July 2017

It's been 2 month since I started a Facebook Group together with the help @kevinwong in the beginning for Malaysian Steemians to gather around online outside of Steemit.com

We've had tremendous progress and growth since. Some of which are organic but a majority of them are made possible with the special efforts of @bitrocker2020.

As of the time of writing the goup is 111 person strong. With postings and engagement in the group on the daily.

Just this month alone we've seen huge jumps of new users by the dozens, exact numbers by Facebook Analytics is not yet available until we've reached 250 members (we seem to be headed there fast!). Based on available data from sociograph.io, we can see huge spikes from July 18th onwards. Which coincides with the day @bitrocker2020 organized the first ever Steemit workshop in Malaysia.

As of now, other than the creator of the group (myself), we have @kevinwong as group administrator and @bitrocker2020 as moderator. Based on the growth we are experiencing, I am hopeful that we will soon need new mods and admins as the group size grows with engagement and activity picking up "Steem" (pun intended and you know it!)

With the upcoming meetups scheduled to happen all across Malaysia, we are looking at a very "bullish sentiment" for Steemit in Malaysia. #TeamMalaysia is going to get up and get loud!!
