Hey Steemians!

The first ever Steemit Workshop in Miri is officially completed! I've made an announcement a week ago. To be honest i did not know what to expect. But I am happy with the turnout and the results! Even with the small group, we've had people from all walks of life, business owner, freelancers, online entrepreneurs, almost reflecting the demographics of my small town of people who are open to new opportunities.

Despite the time constraint i gave myself for the preparation (I plan to organize it within the month, however the venue was only available for that day with all other timeslots booked within the month.) I do say i was quite surprised that i got all the basic preparations done. The venue itself is capable of seating at most about 10 person. So it's obvious the next meetup/seminar is going to be held in a much larger space!

The entirety of the event lasted from 7pm to 9pm, with some networking before and after. It's interesting to note that all of the participants are "new friends". Its amazing how Steem lets people have the opportunity to make new connections.

I was quite nervous to be honest, trying my very best to introduce what Steemit is in a nutshell.

I try to keep things as casual as i can, as it is a small group.

This will be the firsts of the many events that @teammalaysia will be running. Yes, we are going full force with this initiative. Everything starts small, and there's only so much can be done as of now between myself and @bitrocker2020. We would need any and all the help we can get to see our movements growing stronger than ever. Afterall, the Steem Blockchain unlocks an opportunity that changes not just lives but societies!
