"My Steemit Story: A Guide to Maximize Probable Rewards of Your Posts!"

Hello there steemit friends! Have you read my previous post? If you haven’t have done yet then I suggest that you read it first before you proceed. I discussed there the importance of making a proper introductory post before you start posting something else in your blog and on how you could possibly build solid followers by doing so. Please click HERE to navigate you to that post.

Anyways, to make a recap, an introductory post is a post verifying your genuineness which could also make readers create an impression of you and on how interesting are you in life. Then those who share the same interest as you or those who find you fascinating could possibly follow you and could become your solid followers!

When I started steemit, I do not have any idea about that. I only spam comments such as “upvoted and followed, please do the same” just to gain DEAD followers. They are your followers but they do not read nor upvote your posts and that sucks! The sad part is you could get flagged by doing that and your reputation could possibly suffer and you would not definitely want that so please do not ever do that.

Shortly after I joined Steemit Philippines Discord and created a proper introductory post, I discovered the first stage of the two stages in my steemit journey. That first stage is what I called as the learning stage. It is the stage where you learn all the things that you need to learn in the platform.

Obviously, the learning stage is comprised of all the learning phase in steemit such as putting styles, resizing images and organizing them to make your posts look good, learning how to put sources of all the images that you took from the internet to evade theft, putting references in your research based articles to avoid plagiarism, learning on how and when to use appropriate codes, etc.

One other stage which I considered as part of the learning stage is the gathering of audience or followers and one effective way to do that is to engage with other people, join communities, participate in events and contests, get involved in great steemit initiatives, make friends and support authors (especially new ones) who have the same passion as you! Through these, you’ll be able to build a strong foundation and strong network of people who could possibly support you in your journey here.

Another important part in learning stage is learning on how you could possibly increase the visibility of your post! In other words, you must learn how your post could reach out other people (who are not your followers yet). One way to do this is to learn how to properly use popular or trending tags! Most people especially whales and dolphins would not just browse their feeds! They would likely browse particular tags whether popular or not. Therefore, to get the attention of these people, you must know how to put appropriate tags which are popular and you must also make the title of your post catchy and interesting to read!

And to summarize all of these, first you must learn how to make quality posts which are not just based on the quality of the content of your posts but based on how well organized and how appealing your posts are. Learn codes on how to put your images in center and learn how to resize them to purposely make your post attractive. In short, invest time and effort in all your posts!

Second is to make friends, build an audience and a strong network of followers by engaging with other people but do not ever spam comments and beg for upvotes! For Filipinos, you are all welcome to join the Steemit Philippines Discord server. The people there are very nice and friendly and they would gladly help you succeed in the platform! Click HERE to join!

Third is learning how to increase the visibility of your posts by knowing how to properly use popular tags which are only and must be related to your post. (For Filipino steemians, please use #steemph and #philippines tags in all your posts). Using tags especially popular tags which are not related to your post could result to @steemcleaners flagging your post. Then make the title of your posts interesting to read to attract more readers!

Follow and learn all of these and you would definitely become fruitful in the platform. Take note that all of these could not happen overnight. You must learn how to be patient all the time! Do not rush things! It is better to gradually learn all of these to absolutely nourish them. Even I am still in this learning stage which could possibly take a lifetime because learning doesn’t stop! But you would certainly see results day by day as you progress in the platform and you will surely be rewarded for all your hard work!

The second stage is when you convinced yourself that you have become a full grown minnow! In this stage, you are confident that you are already equipped with all the basics and that you already know how the system works here. I will continue this in my next post! Thank you for reading!

If you want me to help you throughout your steemit journey then please contact me in discord or you can drop comments below. I would be glad to be part of your success here! I am not always online but I would always reply to any messages as soon as I can! Thank you!

nice story

Super true, brad! ^^
Giving credit or including your reference/source is a must, especially if the information you put in your post isn't yours. Paraphrasing and summarizing are a key to avoid being "a 100% copy-cat", too! We wouldn't like Cheetah and Steamcleaners to punish us.. hihi ^^

Couldn't agree more brad! We should be careful with our posts too. Sorry I forgot to include this in the post :D

No worries.. Your post is really helpful especially to the newbies... ^^ Keep them coming! :)

Thanks brad! Ipa basa ni sa mga bag-o diha cebu brad! Hehe

I am still struggling on that initial fase. Getting followers is hard.

Do you recommend me to start posting now or to dedicate my time to just commenting?

I will appreciate your help about this subject.
