Steemit will be the #1 social media? dont make me laugh

there are a lot of posts that says steemit will be the number one social media.

i dont think it will come true for one important reason that everyone forget.

STEEMIT HAS VERY STRONG COMPETITORS!

i realy believe that when steemit will become an actual treat for facebook and twitter- both compenies will start pay their users for content and by doing that the idea behind steemit- will be no longer something to get excited from.

    Its not the pay, its the open source. I dont think fb and other centralized will open their source and giveup their censorship so fast.
