We all know that steemit has been upgraded to version (0.18.1). Well i think extending blog rewards time to 7 days after curation time is the best. actually i don't understand most of other parts of upgrade yet LOL.

Undeclared agreement 

   One might argue that old system have 24 then 1 month rewards, so what is new here?
Well there is undeclared agreement on steemit that voting in first 24 hours or before first rewards executed is the most valuable votes. rarely i find someone searching older blogs to vote or comment. Ask yourself how many time you voted an old blog, most save their 40 daily votes to new contents. The point here is about first rewards, getting it after a week make things different.  

The best part is

   I won't miss good stuff any more. Many time due to work load (12 to 24 hours per shift) i miss really good blogs, i came late so my vote won't affect the first rewards which already transferred and also can't share my opinion or involved in a discussion which already toke place at first 24 hours. Sure i can do both but with little value.

   Now i can vote at any time and discussion most likely will be live for 1 week, from other perspective i can login to steemit twice a week and never miss a blog from a friend am following. That is just great.

Tags will be used more frequently 

     The old way is to use home and new, you will look for your friend blogs in (home) and open (new) to explore and enjoy new content. This approach make you go through many blogs in variety of topics which not interesting you in any way, so basically you will lose some time because there is fixed time frame for you to vote a worthy blog.But this time end with the new upgrade, when my vote & comment is relevant for 7 days why the rush, no need to vote or comment in first hours. 

   It is hard to explore 7 days blogs in general when you have hundreds of them. Tags will make it easy to enjoy new blogs in steemit and will save you from going through many blogs in unwanted topics. That will eventually lead all community to be topic specific, endorse diversity and rearrange us in a new way.

It will help steemit mass adoption

   A whole week is more than enough to post your blog in other social media which will attract more user to steemit. It will give you more time to share and talk about your blog and that will help in a way or another, for instant sending your blog in email or whatsapp will be more convenient with 7 days window to upvote. The fact that this will increase relitevly the rewards per blog it self will attract more user to this plat form. ( COME FOR REWARDS STAY FOR COMMUNITY ).
Is it only me who feel the slow immigration from other social platform like facebook and twitter to steemit?
   I think we should expect more activities and gradual healthy increase in STEEM price which also will contribute in steemit scaling.

Be ready

  With more time available for other steemian to evaluate your blog, quality of content will be of grater value than before. Moreover is it encouraging for author to make a good content when he\she will post it and get upvoted for all the week.
So i expect we see more long high quality blog after we all fit in new system.
