Haven't really thought about it till now.
However.. The way I understand that it works is.. You get a certain amount of the steem that is given to everyone every day, so.. Might as well use as much of it as you can each day, and if you're like me and spend more time creating content than viewing others content.. I think it makes sense for me to boost my own articles before I boost other peoples.
But.. I will consider it more in the future as I never even really thought about it, thanks for bringing the thought to my mind.
No problem @apolymask. A nice surprise to see a comment from you. I read a couple of your posts yesterday I think but didn't bother commenting as I know you're a busy man. One of them was a photo of your fathers that you posted looks like it was taken in a canyon or something similar. You live in a beautiful part of the world my friend!
Theres been a lot of talk about the self voting thing. Lots of people upvoting their own comments and such. Some of the rewards people are getting for upvoting their own comments is crazy. I saw one guy upvote his own comments on his own post twice and got over a hundred dollars for it. Not much of a big deal when its me or you getting a few cents but when youre able to reward yourself that much for a couple of shitty comments something isn't right!

Indeed! It just gets really hot here sometimes. ._. That's my only complaint.
That does seem pretty ridiculous, I can see why people would be annoyed.
I still haven't fully formed my opinion on the subject but I've been trying to post without self voting for a while and it seems to be working fine. I don't notice a big difference and wouldn't mind if they just removed the ability to vote for yourself.
