Billboards? Nah, I rented the top banner space on one of the most renowned blogs in Romania
We love Steemit and that's why we can't shut up about it so we tell each and every person we can.
Not only that but people are decorating their houses, buying billboards, walking around holding signs and with all kinds of Steemit apparel promoting this awesome community. This is why I decided to buy a top banner space to promote Steemit on one of the most known and visited blogs in Romania: zoso.ro.
The blog gets about 60-70.000 visits every day from about 30.000 unique visitors that are very active.
The reason I chose zoso.ro is because of its community. Besides the tons of unique visitors on a daily basis, this blog is one of those places where you go to read the comments more than the articles. It has such an engaged community that hundreds of comments are posted every day. It's this type of active community members that we need to onboard to Steemit.
The banner has been up for about 15 minutes while I was writing this article, and it already received about 25 clicks. It's almost midnight in Romania.
Tomorrow will be a big day. More than 30.000 people will surely find out about Steemit and who knows how many will join us here.

Basic referral system will promote fake accounts. Need a more polish idea.
