Civilization is a turn-based video game created by Sid Meier and published by MicroProse in 1991, the game received very good reviews and was awarded as strategy game of the year, the objective was simple, to build your own empire and achieve to stand the test of time. The saga Civilization always includes historical leaders like heads of the different eligible civilizations in the game, Napoleón of France, Boadicea of the celtas or Genghis Khan of the Mongols.

That's why in its sequel they repeated the formula with some improvements, and like the previous installment that includes historical leaders this was not the exception, in the case of the Indian civilization the developers chose Mahatma Gandhi as their leader for the second installment of the saga, adding some immersion to the game and trying to create some historical rigor and that's cool.

The problem comes as the game progresses and we found out that at the moment when the Indian civilization can develop nuclear weapons, Gandhi becomes a passionate follower of the use of these. The reason for this sudden change in his personality it's because in the development of the game, the Indian leader was awarded a level 1 aggression against other players, with the idea of simulating some historical facts, since this was known behavior of the Indian leader.

However, in other leaders that level will gradually falling as a nation accepted the characteristic of democracy for its civilization, but as Gandhi was already the lowest possible value, his level could not go lower even more, in fact this generated a bug and its value was turned around and put to the maximum possible level of aggressiveness, becoming a ruthless leader who used nuclear bombs as soon as an opportunity was given.

This shocking attitude compared to the historical character became a recurring joke about the game, so just like Oppenheimer one day quote of the Bhagavad Gita;
