Are you a writer? Do you want to be? Are you looking for a group of folks to converse with about style, formatting, genre, and anything else? Or do you just want to find a sweet place to hang out and talk about trash pandas?

Well look no further! Fiction Workshop is the place for you!

Seriously, this has got to be one of the greatest groups of people I've ever come across. They're fun-loving, funny, and just all-around good. I've made what I hope are going to be lasting friends here, and they've improved my writing tremendously. Not only that, but thanks to the tireless efforts of @rhondak, @jrhughes, @nexusfyre, and the rest of the crew there, we have two absolutely incredible projects alongside the Workshop:

  • Steemshelves - Here you can find all of the work that we authors in the workshop have made in one convenient location. No more scrolling through feeds to find what you want!
  • SFT Library - What started out as just a curation trail via the Fiction Workshop has become a website where you can peruse all the work that's been curated by the trail. Everything is divided by genre, so you can pick up and look at the exceptional work our authors are cranking out.

One thing to keep in mind. The Fiction Workshop is just that: for fiction. It's not for poetry, non-fiction, editorials, etc. Nothing against other styles, but we keep ourselves focused on the task at hand. If you want a link to join the PALnet Discord server, look no further!

If you haven't gone over there to check it out, why the heck not? Go! We're always handy with a welcome and some friendly advice. Plus, we're awesome people to boot.

Andrei Chira is an anarcho-capitalist, former 82nd Airborne paratrooper, vaper, and all-around cool guy. He's a father to one wonderful little girl named Kate, lives down in Alabama, and spends his time writing stories, posting to Steemit (not as much as he probably should), and cultivating the mental fortitude to make it through three years of law school.

Thanks for Share! like your post and love it!

It is a great community I am very happy to be a part of

I agree wholeheartedly about making lasting friends. It just feels that solid.

I'm going to share this link and GMuxx's on my FB author page. I'll tag you. :-)

Aw, thanks for the shout-out! I feel the same way, we are making lasting friendships and improving our craft, and I'm thrilled to be a part of it. People like you make it great!

A really great group for intellectuals to discover and discuss new fictions. Thanks for spreading the message

I've been wanting to write for some time now but I just can't seem to find the time, discipline and confidence! I think I have some great ideas but it's just about putting pen to paper (or fingers to keyboard!)

As always, the work has to be done. Inspiration always helps, especially when coming up with things to write about, but at the end of the day, it's about putting words on a page until it's finished. :D Join the Discord channel for help and tips. We're always welcoming new folks!
