It got a lot of people in a tussle (myself included) and it's a pretty hot topic. I tried to cover as many angles as I could and in the end came to the conclusion that the changes, whatever they are - will be for the good of all those involved. Authors, Curators and the platform as a whole. This is something I wrestled with for a long time and I'm really glad I have peace with it now.

Hell yeah!I have never earned a single dime from YouTube, there is no way I could hate the update that is pro for the future of the platform, they do have to try new things in order to find the right balance.
Just saw Vince the last 2 minutes of the video, had to do some other things before I could´ve done that so this is my opinion on haters, I think that people are sadly getting salty and jelous. But jelousy can be a good emotion if wielded correctly. If jelousy is positive it is a motivation and Vince you have inspired me a lot to work hard every day. @dnews
Well said! Loved your objective point of view (drone point of view heehe). Yea, we all are in this together, that's so true. We need to stick together and support the platform and each other if we want to succeed. Dtube is just in it's infancy - things should move forward, more improvements and changes are coming as we go. There will be more bitterness coming in as we move forward, but as well more success. We all should focus on improving our work and to create valuable content for the community and the platform, cuz I hope that's the main reason why we all are here. And obstructions relating to upvote should not be transformed in to excuses of not pursuing our own plans/goals for ourselves, the platform etc.

If you ask me, I think the cream will rise to the top, and I won't be surprised to see that your videos are on top regardless since you're clearly a pro.
On another point, I'm a little disappointed by some of the other videos I'm seeing. Why is the issue about "haters and jealousy"? Those haters and jealous folk presumably have zero influence on DTube devs right? If one must be angry, why not direct the anger at DTube rather than fellow creators? You know what I mean?
