Great people. Cold beer. Good vibe. These are the words that can resume Romanian Steem Meetup (31 March 2018)
Hello to everyone, steemians from Romania and all over the world,
Last weekend I had the pleasure of meeting my friends from Steemit for the first time, face to face, in Bucharest.
The meeting took place at a local with a garden outside called Lokal. Meetups are an awesome idea, it's very nice to make friends online, interacting with them and then getting to know them face to face.
My friend @lishu found the ideal location. At 6 p.m I arrived at Lokal with @lishu, @rbm and @arhaicmusic. This place called Lokal was perfect to spend the time. It is a small house with a yard where you can relax. We drank beer and lemonade (me :D), we smile and laughed all the time.
The weather was very nice, at 6 p.m was about 20 degrees, so we stayed outside.
The funny part was that @littleone and @catalincernat sat at a table near us, not knowing that we were the ones they were supposed to meet. They eventually recognized us, after about 15 minutes they came to our table. :)
Then came the other friends.
I was also inside the Lokal, it was very nicely decorated with old objects.
Steemit is about engagement
It's fantastic to share ideas with people that you met on Steemit.
Steemit has great potential and the platform is growing every day. As you can guess, we've talked about Steemit, about future perspectives, about what we can do to help each other and to grow a larger community.
The most important thing is that we can't grow alone, we are a community and we have to support each other. This is the key to success, to share visions and great ideas.
It was a great experience
I was glad to discover their passions, each with a strong personality.
We talked about SteemFest and I hope some of us will have the opportunity to participate in SteemFest 3. :D
What's next?
We decided to meet once a month, I hope we can do it. It was a very pleasant experience and their energy give me the necessary motivation to keep writing.
All in all, it was a lovely meeting, I am grateful for everyone who took their time to come to this meetup: @alexvan, @vonaurolacul, @catalincernat, @littleone @sunnyali, @alexandraioana26, @cristinaaa, @lishu, @alexdory, @razvanelulmarin, @archaimusic and @rbm.

I entirely agree with that. If we help and support each other, we can grow faster. It's fun and exciting to meet people face to face when you meet them online.

The meetups are a very good idea of steemit, because the participants know each other better, here in my country they do it but in another state and we are far away so we have not had the opportunity to participate in a meetup. I hope we are given the opportunity if they were to organize in Caracas.
It would be very nice to meet face to face with your friends, it is very interesting to discover their passions and lifestyle. Hugs!
