Now, to the point in Simple way

Meaning Of Fabrics:

Fabric (cloth) is made by processing or conversion of fiber into yarn,( Yarn is Thread) ( Fibre Is Tissue or Thin Layer of substance).

There are many types of fibers and threads available. There is different different machines for converting thread into fabric.

Fabric When Generated:

When generated , it is in raw form called Raw cloth. It Goes Through Bleaching process to make it finished.

Fabric after Finishing:

After bleaching and finishing it can be colored and only after finishing process we can do work on it either it is embroidery or printing etc. There are many kind of work.

Final Cost Of Cloth What You Generally Wear:

Raw Fabric Cost For Example: Georgette (polyster) Fabric:  Approx 0.3USD/METER

After Finished :0.50 USD/METER

After Digital print : 1.60 USD/METER

When you wear printed cotton t-shirt, it generally cost 2-3 USD.

Nice to c u

I used to own a clothing boutique. I will tell you this:

  1. I mark up 100%. I usually buy from wholesaler by the dozen.
  2. Wholesaler mark up 50% from cos,t but they buy in the hundreds.
  3. Rent and salary is the biggest expenses.
  4. Trends change, this year you are the most popular, tomorrow your new fancy neighbor is the most popular. Well that is business. :D

Thank you for your valuable feedback i will do so.

Nice post bro! really informative! :)

It's normal, marketing costs and salary costs are super high. Yes you buy a jean for 5 USD in Algeria, but then no ones wants to wear a non branded jean, so you need to buy marketing and pay dudes like justin bieber to wear your pants. So to make a profit you need to sell those pants 200 USD.

My pleasure dear friend
