And I know it's discouraging when you spend days making a quality and original post and you don't get any upvotes.😞

DO'S AND DON'TS WHILE COMMENTING
In your bid to gain the Author's attention:
DO'S
~Read the post at least twice to get full understanding about what the post is talking about before making AN INTELLIGIBLE AND KIND/ COMPLEMENTARY COMMENT✔️

~Pick and highlight your favourite part of the post like this:✔️

For example; I agree with you...

And say something about it

~Ask intelligible questions when you don't understand the message the Author is trying to pass across(after reading it at least twice).✔️

~Be friendly, polite and tolerant.✔️
Because, not everyone will agree with your school of thought.

~Upvote the post, If you find it interesting.😉✔️

DON'TS
~Do not make comments like "nice post", "good post" or "I like your post"...❌
It would be considered as spamming and might get you flagged/downvoted.

~Don't copy and paste other people's comments.❌
It's wrong.

~Don't download, edit, recreate and repost the Author's pictures without prior permission from him/her in his/her comment section.❌

~Don't exaggerate in a bid to get the Author's attention.❌
It's a turn off.

~DO NOT UPVOTE YOUR COMMENT without upvoting the Author's post.❌
In fact don't upvote your comment at all, except on a person's post you are familiar with, so you won't get downvoted.

~Do not spam or reply comments made by others on the post, if the comments are not directed to you or do not concern you.❌

~Don't be rude, snobbish, vulgar or nasty when you get unpleasant replies.❌

~Do not beg for upvotes from the Author, it'd make you appear desperate.❌

It can be frustrating and a waste of valuable time(that you'd have put into making a post).

You might just get lucky and get upvotes, if you follow the 'rules'😉
