I think the biggest challenge for steemit is to bring the content creators from YouTube.
Because, it is a popular platform. Secondly, it is video based. And everybody likes watching content than reading one.
I think Reddcoin comes in there to support these platforms - Facebook, Reddit, Twitter, YouTube, etc.
