🐼 Steemit Iron Chef 2018 Act 1 Round 7 - Chicken with Creamy Leek sauce
My recipe today is a favourite mainly because 1. it is so easy to make 2. you use one pan and 3. You can feed the family in 30 minutes
The ingredient today is Leeks - chicken with creamy leek sauce is the recipe
Use a very sharp knife to cut the chicken breasts in half and fry in olive oil until brown on each side - set aside.
Add a tablespoon of butter and some more olive oil to the pan and fry the leeks for about 5 minutes. Add some red wine and remove from stove to add 100ml cream
Place chicken in casserole dish and pour over the sauce
and there you have it - a most delicious meal in 30 minutes - and definitely one to consider everytime you have leeks or spring onions in the house

The taste of that creamy red wine leek sauce must be sooo yummy I am sure! Really sometimes we look to cook something quick while using the minimum of pots and pans possible, and this recipe works perfectly in such situations!
