I'm looking for some work-out exercises that I can do at home, who can advice me some? 💪💪
Hello all,
I'll quickly sketch my situation for you. I work from home as a developer for about 6 months now. As many of you know working from home is a dream situation.
However lately I've been noticing a big downside. Because of my lack of movement and exercise I had to shorten the wristband of my watch and enlarge my belt...
I've made some changes to my eating and living habits, I eat less bread and sugar and go earlier to bed. But despite that I need to face the fact that water + exercises are the most important part of a healthy diet.
I am looking for some great exercises, mostly for my core, that I can do from home without any equipment except for dumbbells and some tips, hints, to not give up on them after a week...
I'm overweight and I'm doing Insanity, that's a program that doesn't use any equipment just your body, it can be hard but it is very good if you are looking for something sosteinable that doesn't need you to go somewhere, you can do it even in a hotel room
Hey @Jorgedr0id, thanks for the reply. I looked into it, it seemed like the kind of workout that I might start with good hope but won't bite through :D
How far are you in the program right now and what do you do to motivate yourself?
I don't follow the program as it is because I got injured year ago so I do it as I can, 3 month at my rhythm, and is going really goo so far, I make 4 days a week, I'm not gonna lie to you sometimes I just don't want to do it, but after I finish, I feel really good, if you do it, tell me how are you doing!
Alright, I will :) I might start with something more casual at the beginning as it is recommended to build some basic physique in the beginning at least, or so I read
Good for you good luck!

Hi there, repeated short burst of high intensity exercise i.e. max effort for under 12 seconds (on the spot sprints/ Burpees), followed but a lower intensity active recovery (walking) could be good for a quick an effective fat burner. Also resistance training will help to raise the body metabolic rate will will cause the body to continue using energy post exercise. resistance training can be done with the dumbbells you say you have or also body weight exercises (press ups, Squats, etc). Hope this was helpfull.
Hey @marvinsme it sure does, especially the burpees are perfect for at home imo, I will definitely take a swing at it, thanks a lot
