About 2 weeks ago, I used steeminvite to create an account for one of my prospects, Ana ( @anastepp) and even wrote a post about it. The process was successful as shown below.

anna's account successfully created..PNG

However, there is a problem. Ana cannot access her steem account even with her owner key, which is the password. What do we do? Where do we go from here? Please, I need help as soon as possible (ASAP) and would appreciate your responses. Thank you in anticipation.

Sincerely yours,
Mary.

Oh no. I am sorry for this. I hope you find a solution.

It's alright, @jeanwandimi. A solution has already been found. Thanks for your concern.

may be trying the other keys may work out

Those long password could make someone make a mistake by omitting or replacing one if it. Once you do that, if not saved elsewhere and browser prompts you to update and you do, that is the beginning of the problem.

I agree with you, absolutely. In Ana's case, it appears that she didn't store the main password, but only private keys (posting, active, owner, memo), all of which she couldn't use. Anyway, I had to open another account, @ana-step, for her using anonsteem.

I hope she didn't have much SBD left on the old account. That's surely a bother to you. Thanks a lot.

You are right, i nearly lost my details back then

@tfame3865 it can happen to anybody, just gotta keep those passwords safe somewhere offline.

Weldone ma'am @maryfavour

I think copying and pasting is best option. She may have made a mistake. My take.

@eurogee

Thank you, @eurogee, for your assistance. We tried the copy and paste option using all private keys, except memo key, nothing worked. I think the problem was that , @ana-step, didn't save the initial password. Now, I know better.

Try using the posting key. I hope you wrote it down

We made similar post.
I just wrote about steeminvite now

@tojukaka, Ana has tried using all private keys including posting key, without success. Sure, she wrote it down. Good to know that you wrote similar post about steeminvite. I'll read the post from your blog. It's always advisable to document such things on the steem blockchain. Well done!
