Like telling you about OpenFace without first explaining what facial recognition is?
I will briefly explain to you.....
Facial recognition allows, verifies or recognizes the identity of a person according to their physiological characteristics and works through comparisons between the attributes of the face of the person to be identified and others with similar characteristics contained in a database.
I understand... and... what good would software like this do me?
Lately the popularity of facial recognition software is high, and depending on the field in which you develop, you can use it for the following purposes:
1.Online payments
2.Advertising
3.Find missing persons or pets
4.Detect impostors
5.Catching criminals
6.Unlock mobile phones
7.Recognize clients (in the case of companies)
8.Protecting privacy
I'm interested! But how do I get it, or rather, is it my monetary reach?
Unfortunately, there are few software of this type made in open source, but OpenFace is the exception, it is able to identify faces in real time.... Incredible not?.... And how does he do it? Just take 10 reference photos of the person you want to recognize, and you can get them for free at GitHub.
You know what this means, no? Well if you don't know, I'll tell you, it's open source, that is, customizable.

But can it be fooled by holding a picture of the account holder ? The internet is full with our faces, somebody just needs to download 1 picture and maybe they can access our data.
