RE: Duolingo - Learn Languages Free
I started using Duolingo mainly as a way to keep my language skills sharp, and I’ve noticed it’s especially useful for building daily consistency. The app keeps lessons short and structured, which makes it easier to stay motivated compared to heavier textbooks. At the same time, I wouldn’t say it’s enough on its own for advanced goals. For example, when I was preparing for more formal evaluations, I had to add resources outside the app. One useful option was working with practice materials like dlab test prep, since it focuses on logic and pattern recognition that Duolingo doesn’t really cover. In my experience, the best approach is to see Duolingo as a foundation—it’s great for vocabulary, grammar basics, and habit building, but combining it with specialized tools or speaking practice makes the progress more balanced and realistic.
