Nintendo have been using touch screens since the idea of the handheld DS some of it's uses were great some are not and personally I think selecting a item via touch in the middle of a game with the WII U game pad is a brilliant idea rather then having to use the joysticks to go through all the items, will be interesting to see what other ideas will be used with this feature.
