About Wickr Me

Wickr Me is a free application that allows for private and secure communications. All messages and calls are protected using end-to-end encryption and no data is stored on a central server.

You do not need contact information such as a phone number or an email address to utilize the Wickr application. This allows for anonymous communications.

Pros:

It is nice to prevent monitoring
It is easy to use
Also nice to have anonymous communications.
It is open-source, everyone can contribute on it

Pros:

Support multiple platforms application
Support innovative encryption algorithms
Every single message is encrypted before sending
Highly secure application
Attractive UI implemented
Free to use
Support device to device encryption
Overall cool hunt

Cons:

No cons are found

Nice Hunt!

Pros:

free to use
supports Android and iOS as well as Mac, Windows and Ubuntu
end to end encryption with no data storage in between

Cons:

just too many similar apps out there (Whatsapp, Telegram,...) all with the exact same function so the factor to choose would be what app is used the most by people (makes it difficult to implement a new app like this)
