No matter how many records it breaks, it will still be a jeweller for years to come and most people will still spend this kind of money on holy trinity, al&s, fpj, rm. May be they should spin off to a different brand.
I almost added “Hotelier” in the description. Because that seems to be the new thing to do, LVMH bought the Siberian Express, which also includes hotels. I guess it makes sense to expand the “luxury” corporation brands.
But that said, where I grew up jewelry and watches were sold in the same store. It was one sector.
Yeah, they still are. Walk in HK and jewellers will overshadow boutiques anyday. I think wrist watches were not for men till rolex came in. I can see why jewellers carried watches, fine craftsmanship, expensive, precious metal.
