Every new Steemit user needs to know how to add a profile picture and banner image.

First Go To Steemit Settings

Option #1
From your Steemit Blog page, click on the Settings link located on the right side of the screen.

Option #2
From any screen, click your Profile Picture to open a dropdown menut and then click Settings.

The Settings Page Will Open

• The following page will appear.
• Enter the URL Destination of your profile picture and banner image. (If you do not have a destination URL, then followi the steps in the next section)
• Click Update.

Easy Trick to Create a Destination URL

If your Profile Picture and/or Banner Image have not yet be uploaded to the internet, follow these simple steps.

1. Create a new Steemit post in a new tab.
2. Upload your Profile Picture and/or Banner Image, by
   • dragging & dropping
   • pasting from clipboard
   • selecting them
3. Copy the Markdown code line for your image. Copy and paste the image url into the appropriate Settings box.
