It's still in it's early stages, but hopefully there is enough in there to help you get going.
If there are specific aspects of Steem you'd like information on that I haven't covered then send me a reply on that post and I'll endeavour to find out and add it to the Post.
If you come a Post or information that you found useful, I'd be grateful if you'd let me know so I can add it/ share it with other. Alternatively you can click 'Submit a Story' and create a blog post yourself (and let people know yourself.
Basically, Steemit is a blogging site that rewards (with money) for posts that others find valuable. You can also gain rewards for voting and replying to other peoples post (and replies). Click the Submit a Story button to create a new blog post. Click on the Picture Icon in the far right hand corner of the page to view your stats and account information. If you click the 'steemit' on the far right hand side and it will take you to the homepage. By default you will see Posts that are currently 'hot' if you click on the dropdown you can other options i.e.
hot - I'm not 100% sure what this means technically however I imagine it lists Posts by a combination of their newness and their popularity.
trendy - I'm not sure how this distinguishes itself from 'hot' above, as I'd imagine this also lists Posts by a combination of their newness and their popularity. (The beauty of Steemit is you can, search the site for an answer and if one doesn't exist already you can write a post asking the question)
view Posts that are currently **
created - lists Posts by the date/ time they were created (most recent go to the top.
active- list Post by when they had the last changed (this could be that the OP [original post] was amended or a reply was made)
responses - lists Posts in order of the most replies (this looks like an all time list)
votes - lists Posts in order of the most votes (this looks like an all time list)
I've probably waffled on way to long for a reply (I probably should put it in a post!), however hopefully this helped.
Thanks or being an early adopter! There are many more resources coming in the near future, but in the meantime, please feel free to browse the site and visit steem.io for more info.
