STEEMGIG: Logo Artist Needed: $20 SBD for a Steemit Book Club Logo
I’m offering 20 SBDs to any Steemian who can design a good logo for the new Steemit Book Club.
Please Read This Post Carefully Before Applying!
I don't want anybody to waste their time on anything.THE GIG:
Pay is $20 SBD - half paid when you show me the first draft, half paid when you deliver the final approved logo.
Design a good, simple logo for the Steemit Book Club. The content of the logo should be easy to read and give off good vibes - collaboration, learning, knowledge, that's the kind of stuff the club is about. I like colorful, playful imagery for something like this - think Adventure Time.
The dimensions for the image need to be 3375 (width) by 2000 (height). You will send me the final logo as a photoshop file (preferable) or, if you don't use photoshop, any other high quality filetype is fine.
The deadline for sending the finished logo is 7 days after taking the gig. Here is the workflow:
- You create a quick sketch/draft of the logo and send it to me.
- After draft approval you receive the first 10 SBDs and move on to create the final logo.
- If revisions are needed, I give feedback and you the small adjustments to fix it up.
- Once the final logo is approved and sent to me, I send the final 10 SBDs.
APPLICATION GUIDELINES:
If you want the gig, please post in the comments. Only one application per account.
In your comment, include: One original image/artwork of yours uploaded directly to the comment (so I can see it without visiting another website). Also, include a link to some other portfolio of work - even if it’s just your Steemit blog, that is fine.
Also include 2-3 sentences letting me know your history with art/design and why you’d be the right person for this gig.
Note: Past work is fine for this application. No bonus points are given for designing a logo ahead of time and posting it in the comments, or anything else like that.

It can be a high quality image file of any kind. I'll update the job description to reflect this.

Just link me to some past work for now. I'm going to hire someone in 24 to 48 hours, after a few more people have the chance to see it and apply.
The name of the club is still being decided (details at https://steemit.com/books/@heymattsokol/the-new-steemit-book-club-update-it-s-happening-d-but-we-need-a-new-name-any-ideas) and until that is set, the logo can't be made anyway. So yea just link me to some designs you've done and I'll let you know in about 48 hours if you get this gig or not.

Here's one of my logos I made.
This was a logo for a hacking and IT Administration tool which deals with Microsoft's Active Directory (hence the connected dots).
Why me?
I want to practice. I want to learn. I want to improve.
I am mostly a mobile UX/UI designer (with more IT background) who decided to learn more about Graphic Design and wants to delve deeper into this field and deliberate practice is the best way to do that. That's why it'd be awesome to have a chance to design a logo for someone with an artistic sense who can give me feedback, etc.
Getting this deliberate practice, get feedback and "real-life" practice and also get compensated a tiny bit would be pretty damn cool.
My style is more minimal and I'd make a vector version of the logo.
What is the name of the club?
